When I was growing up, I considered myself to be “mediocre” at everything. I didn’t have the confidence to excel at anything so I did what I thought I was supposed to do: I grew up, got a college degree, married a great guy and had two children. It wasn’t until my forties that I realized how bored and unalive I felt. I held down a variety of ho-hum jobs that I excelled at while raising my kids by nothing really lit me up. Luckily, I came across my true career by surfing the Internet of all places and found my true passion- life coaching. My life hasn’t been the same since!

Here are some other fun facts about me I’m an eternal optimist. I can get pretty cranky I get if I don’t work out everyday because endorphins are my drug of choice. I love my green smoothies almost as much as I love a homemade chocolate chip which I eat weekly. At least, I serve up the truth with compassion and people love that about me. I always take full responsibility for my decisions because I believe “ownership is power” I’m a big believe in scraping my “to do” list for anything that is fun and fulfilling. Expertise: I’m a seasoned life coach (cracking negative mental patterns is my bread and butter) and I’ll service up the truth from a place of love, humor, honesty and compassion. With consistent coaching & personal dedication, my clients experience transformative results that flow from their inner landscapes into their physical bodies, careers and relationships. It’s a beautiful thing to behold.

Passion: Helping people clear out the cobwebs in their mind so that they can do what they are meant to do in this world. It’s the most rewarding work in the world!

Healthy Living Tip: You are not your thoughts. But your thoughts do create reality. Try to notice how the thoughts you churn out each and everyday affect you - emotionally, spiritually, psychologically and physically. If they don’t feel awesome, challenge your thoughts by asking if they are true. Then replace those pesky thoughts with ones that maybe as true or truer - perhaps they will even feel a wee bit better. When you change your thoughts, you change your life.

Philosophy: At the end your life, which will you regret more? Taking the risk to pursue your dreams and failing or refusing to take the risk and never knowing whether you succeeded or failed? That is the question that has inspired me to live my best life by scraping things that depleted me and pursuing things that tasted like true joy. As a life coach I help others see that their dreams, what they want to be, do and have are neither ridiculous nor impossible. Once you realize and believe this, I promise that you live a different kind of life. One that you never, ever could have imagined.

Melissa is a fun-loving Chicago girl who relocated to Los Angeles seven years ago; she loves the weather but misses her family, friends, and deep dish pizza! A graduate from the school of Broadcast Journalism, Columbia College Chicago and former Associate Producer for The Jerry Springer Show - Melissa seamlessly combined her journalism skills with her love of gaming and travel working as a reporter for Horsin’ Around TV, a horse racing show on FoxSportsNet and traveling the world interviewing celebrities along with the biggest names in poker while working on the international professional poker circuit. She’s also a big fan of game shows and recently competed on Wheel of Fortune with her brother.

Besides being a globetrotting, sports loving, poker-playing journalist Melissa does have a girly side. She grew up watching Cindy Crawford on MTV’s House of Style, who taught her ‘it’s easier to prevent then to repair’ which sparked her interest in skin care from an early age and a serious product junkie was born. Recently she started writing for a beauty website which brought that passion to a new level. Now a licensed esthetician, Melissa has a hard time having a conversation with someone without analyzing his or her skin.


Megan Kenson

Megan Kenson has over 8 years of instructive experience. Her upbringing as a dancer brought her to Los Angeles to pursue her dancing career. While earning her Bachelor of Arts Degree from UCLA in World Arts and Cultures - Dance she began working as a fitness instructor. Since then, Megan has continued head first into the fitness industry. She is certified in East coast traditional style Pilates (mat and machine apparatus). The unique combination of training she underwent from both arts and fitness focal points has awarded her an interwoven understanding of mental, physical, and emotional connections to ourselves and each other.

About Me: From being one of only a handful of female cops in my department to pursuing a career in the extremely competitive fitness industry over a decade ago, there are few limits that I haven't pushed in my lifetime. I am constantly on the lookout for innovative ways of getting my clients the results that they seek whether that means losing 100 lbs or training for their first triathlon. My training techniques incorporate the indelible connection between mind and body.

Philosophy: It is impossible to train the body without first addressing the obstacles placed on it by the mind.

Danielle is a true Angeleno, and has called Los Angeles home for nearly her entire life. While in college at USC, Danielle had the opportunity to study abroad at University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia, for a semester... it was here where it all began. Danielle took her first indoor cycling class with a roommate at the university gym and instantly became hooked. She found indoor cycling classes were the best way to relieve stress, get in shape, make friends and basically have a dance party on a stationary bike, while listening to the best new jams!

After graduating from USC with a BA in Communication, Danielle worked in the entertainment PR industry for 3.5 years, and then went on to work as a Special Events Manager for a local alcohol company for nearly 4 years. Both jobs were certainly not short on the stress factor... so Danielle continued to attend indoor cycling classes as an outlet for stress and also stay in shape. She finally decided to pursue a certification in the SPINNING program, and in December 2013, officially became a Mad Dogg-certified SPINNING instructor.

She has always surrounded herself and soaked in the healthy, fit lifestyle that Angelenos embody - so it's no surprise that she has done a 180 and made teaching an integral part of her new career path. She enjoys listening to the best new music and putting together heart-pumping, uplifting and challenging playlists and rides for UEvolution members every week! In addition to teaching indoor cycling, her other true loves include her USC Trojans, traveling the world, planning parties, craft cocktails and watching reality TV.

Her personal philosophy is one of personal transformation – inside and out, which explains why she’s such a perfect fit for UEvolution. Incorporating wellness, healthfulness and fitness while taking pride in each one of her clients is her goal.

Vanessa Robertson

I am a true renaissance soul and that goes for my yoga as well. In my class, you’ll experience an eclectic style of yoga, heavily influenced by the alignment principles of Iyengar yoga, the flowing movements of Vinyasa and the healing principles of Yoga Therapy. I love helping people move better and feel better. Yoga answers both of those. I have a B.A. in Theater from UC Irvine, an M.A. in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and am also a longtime bodyworker.

Expertise: Carving out a class to meet the individual needs of the students. I give a lot of personal attention. I have a sharp eye and memory.

Passions: I have a voracious hunger for learning new things. Just. Can’t. Stop. I also love to travel.

Healthy Living Tip: I can’t emphasize enough developing a daily routine of self care. Whether it’s yoga, foam rolling, meditating, or hot baths. Do things for your health everyday!

Tirza Wohl

Tirza Wohl brings both refined skill and grace to UEvolution. A native Angeleno, having a healthy lifestyle has gone hand in hand with the fluid acting career she has maintained since high school; appearing in commercials, television shows (such as CSI) and several feature films. She has been a go to model for music videos for a variety of artists including Justin Timberlake. Tirza graduated with a Bachelors in Psychology from Cal State Northridge and her insight and positive energy remains unchallenged. By working at some of the state’s most prestigious lifestyle resorts and living overseas she brings a well rounded diverse outlook to the culture of UEvolution. Tirza is here daily to help set and achieve your goals with a genuine interest in the holistic benefits of UEvolution. Tirza remains focused on developing the complete potential of our UEvolution friends and members.


Sara Wright

Yoga Instructor

I started my journey with yoga in 2001 in my home state of Oklahoma and completed my first 200-hour training in 2008. I am honored to have studied with many teachers, finding wisdom in and respect for different styles and philosophies of yoga and grateful to share all I have learned. So much of our lives are go-go-go and my practice allows a safe space for self-inquiry and acceptance so that I can find my center in a chaotic world.

In 2013 I headed west for Los Angeles to re-commit to my yoga dream. Shortly after arriving, I completed a second 200-hour training program with YogaWorks, which draws from the Ashtanga, Viniyoga and Iyengar traditions resulting in classes offering precise alignment and careful attention to fluidity of breath. In addition, my sequences are designed to strengthen body and maintain flexibility while allowing inviting practitioners to turn inward and find stillness in each posture, meeting ourselves exactly where we are in each moment.

I am currently training to become an Urban Zen Integrative Therapist, teaching an integrative approach to address classic symptoms of illness through Yoga Therapy, Reiki, Essential Oil Therapy, contemplative end-of-life care and nutrition. These modalities empower the individual to work alongside western doctors, complimenting their course of treatment by focusing on patients, nurses and loved ones enduring changes together.

PASSION: I live to make fitness hard/fun and a community experience. I only enjoy exercise when I can bring more to someone's life at the same time.

PERSONAL BACKGROUND: I am from a small town in Michigan, went to college in San Francisco, lived in China for 3 years to study and teach, been living in LA for a few years and I feel at home here!

I struggled with on & off exercising and only eating one meal a day to be skinny, but because of having fun with fitness I can eat 3 meals and snack throughout the day. I live a much happier and energetic life, and all I want to do is make a healthy lifestyle easier and more fun for everyone!
